Satta Bazar is betting on BJP’s stunning victory in Gujarat elections

BJP will win Gujarat with bumper votes

The dates for the Gujarat Assembly Elections 2022 have been announced. These will be held in two phases on December 1 and 5. All the surveys have been talking about the return of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the elections. The Satta Bazar is also betting on the grand victory of BJP. The bookies expect the BJP to win the highest number of seats in almost two decades in this election. This news has come to the fore at a time when the latest survey of Times Now Navbharat regarding Gujarat elections has also come. In this survey, BJP seems to be getting 125-130 seats. Congress has been given 29-33 seats and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) 20-24 seats. Speculators expect the trading in the speculative or illegal market to reach around Rs 40,000-50,000 crore in the coming days. The question arises that how the bookies have faith in such a strong victory of BJP.

In 2002, the BJP, led by the then Chief Minister Narendra Modi, won 127 seats in the 182-seat state assembly. The bookies think that this time the party can get at least 120 seats. He said this in a conversation with BusinessLine. The biggest reason behind such a belief is that the party is not facing any adverse reaction from the dominant Patel community unlike in 2017. Then the number of BJP seats had come down to 99. It was the lowest since 2002. The Patel community was then upset with the BJP over its demand for reservation.

On the other hand, Aam Aadmi Party will cheat 10-20 seats of Congress. According to speculators, the party’s minority vote is likely to be divided due to the lack of a strong leadership in the state.

According to bookies, similar trends are visible in Himachal Pradesh as well. Elections are to be held in this hill state on November 12. There too BJP is expected to remain in power. The anti-incumbency wave is not likely to play much of a role.
