A Chinese man was seen cheering for Virat Kohli and Team India in Hindi, outside the Adelaide Oval.
While cricket is treated like a religion in India, there are millions of fans of the Indian cricket team across the globe. The Indian men’s cricket team is currently in Australia to participate in the ongoing ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022. Fans from different corners of the world have gathered to cheer for the Men in Blue.
The fan went on to back Team India to win the tournament and also revealed that his favourite Indian player was Virat Kohli.
He also expressed his love for Indian culture and tradition by saying, “mujhe bharatiya sanskriti bahut pasand hai”.
In context of the tournament, Rohit Sharma & Co. will take on Bangladesh in their fourth match of the tournament. So far, India have registered two wins – against Pakistan and Netherlands. Their only loss came against South Africa where Temba Bavuma and his men won the contest by five wickets.
