In a major announcement on Jammu and Kashmir, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday announced the government’s proposal to revoke Article 370 and Article 35A of the Indian Constitution, which provided “special status” to the state. People all over the country celebrate after the historic decision by the NDA govt to scrap Article 370 that offers special status to Jammu and Kashmir state. Union Home Minister Amit Shah during his address in Rajya Sabha proposed that Article 370 to be scrapped. After this, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh will now be Union Territories.
