ED Recovers Cash, Gold From Lalu Yadav’s House; Rs 53 Lac, $ 1900, 1.5 Kg Of Gold Jewellery Seized

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids at several locations in India on Friday concerning the land-for-jobs scam case. The central agency also raided the house of former Bihar Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav’s daughters and son. As per the reports, the probe agency has recovered Rs 53 lakh in cash whereas 1900 USD has also been recovered from Lalu Prasad Yadav’s daughters’ and son’s house.

It was also reported that 2 kg of gold was also recovered in the raid by the ED. As per the reports, the raids were conducted in Patna, Phulwari Sharif, Delhi-National Capital Region, Ranchi. The concerns whose houses were raided by the probe agency include Lalu Prasad’s daughters Ragini Yadav, Chanda Yadav, and Hema Yadav, as well as Tejashwi Yadav. Others whose residence were searched by the ED are former RJD MLAs Abu Dojana, Amit Katyal, Navdeep Sardana.

Most recently, the Central Bureau of Investigation also questioned the former Chief Minister of Bihar and wife of Lalu Yadav, Rabri Devi on Monday. According to the reports, Rabri Devi was questioned for 5 hours by the CBI in the Land for job scam case.
