J&K:Terrorists attack CRPF vehicle

At least five CRPF personnel were injured today in a terrorist attack on the vehicle of security forces in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir.

A convoy of CRPF 96 Battalion with six buses was on their way back to Mattan where terrorists fired at them. Incident occurred at Lazibal area.

The injured personnel have been admitted to a hospital.

The area has been cordoned off and operation has been launched to track down the terrorists.

As Jang-e-Badra falls on August 2, fidayeen may conduct hit and run attack:

The development came in view of forthcoming jang-e-badar on 2nd August, as there is a very high possibility of fidayeen and hit and run attack during these three days.
The officials said it is rare for such a large number of militants to infiltrate in one go and indicated the desperation of their handlers across the LoC to keep the Kashmir pot boiling.
