After Battling A Rare Tumour, ‘Hindi Medium’ Actor Irrfan Khan Finally Returns To Mumbai

If the latest reports are to be believed actor Irrfan Khan is now back to Mumbai post getting treated for cancer in London. The actor might even start shooting for Hindi Medium 2 soon.

Top Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan Actor who was taking medical treatment for the neuroendocrine tumour in London has returned to India according to the news agency IANS. He jetted off to London in March last year, following which, he tweeted that he’s been diagnosed with a rare tumour which is high-grade cancer.

According to a close source in a leading daily, Irrfan Khan is back in town. Some are saying that the Hindi-medium is still getting treated at a hospital in Mumbai while others are thinking Irrfan is returning back to movies to work with the shooting of Hindi Medium’s sequel.

A top source close to the actor in IANS confirmed that Irrfan Khan is back in Mumbai, but put away all other claims. “Irrfan is back in Mumbai. But people are publishing all sorts of stories without any confirmation. They are not true,” the source said as it went on to add that Hindi Medium 2 is surely on the cards, “but not sure when the shooting will start.”

“I will get an update on his health and when will he be resuming work when I meet the actor soon,” the source revealed.

Talking about the update on the sequel, Dinesh Vijan, the producer told IANS, “I will make an official announcement about the film in a fortnight.”
